Kayleigh and Colton were married on a beautiful Winter day at Wedgewood Brittany Hill in Thornton Colorado, one of my favorite Colorado wedding venues! I could not be more happy for these two that after six years of building their relationship and falling in love they finally got to have their dreamy Colorado wedding at one of the best Wedgewood Weddings wedding venues in Colorado.
They had their wedding ceremony indoors surrounded by all of their family and friends. The indoor wedding ceremony space at Wedgewood Brittany Hill has windows surrounding the South and West sides of the room with a perfect panoramic view of both the city of Denver and the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Their ceremony was officiated by a close family friend and they chose to wash each others hands as part of the ceremony. The common wedding tradition of washing your partner’s hands signifies devotion and being able to humble yourself to your new spouse? I have photographed many hand and foot washing ceremonies during weddings and I think the history of the gesture is so interesting!
Their wedding ceremony and wedding reception were decorated beautifully with all of the floral details. They had a floral arch during their ceremony and each table had a wooden box with a floral bouquet and the ceremony altar floral installation was used on the head table during the wedding reception. Their wedding reception even featured a dessert bar in lieu of the traditional cake table as well as a Smores bar. The reception space also had windows from floor to ceiling around the entire room with a stunning view of the Denver city skyline at night as well as the Colorado Rocky Mountains. There’s nothing like being able to get a mountain wedding vibe and a city wedding vibe all in one place!
